Our Dogs
We are really proud of our dogs - the shy but loveable
Violetta, and the outgoing and equally adorable Otto.
They may come to greet you as you enter our grounds or
when you return at night. If you've got a car or are on
a bike don't be intimidated by any barking. They're just
letting you know it's their turf.
Certainly don't be scared of Otto even though he's big
and dirty. He just likes to play, sleep and be patted.
He's actually an Italian shepherd dog and won third
prize in a 2004 Certaldo dog show for the "most
tranquil" dog. Violetta was a former hunting dog and is
the real winner, beating all competition for the "most
scruffy" dog in the same show.
